First sketches

When I started drawing a character, I also started thinking of a weapon to go alongside them, and a friend brought up a couple of weapons, one was the Chakram. It also reminded me of Tira's weapon, from Soul Calibur, and I thought it would make for an interesting addition. 

 I started with a simple design based off of a couple of images in the fashion moodboard, however I thought these were too simple and too human, so I moved on.
