Think I will go for the above image as the final design.

Below is the Posed Character sheet. I chose these two poses as I feel that the character could be somewhat of a protective, defensive character, but still have some offensive abilities. I also wanted to keep a calm demeanor about him to embody serenity and confidence in himself.
